Mrs. Bobbye Jean Lewis, 78, of Crossett, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 15, 2015. She was born on April 9, 1936 to her late parents, Robert P. and Retha Withers. She was a former employee of Tiebel's Diner, a retiree of Georgia Pacific and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. Among her many favorite activities she enjoyed working with her roses and spending time with her grandchildren. She would always say about her grandchildren, "Feed them and let'm grow." Also, another memorable quote of hers was, "If Vicks suave and toothpaste can't fix it...it's time to go to the ER."
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Lewis.
She is survived by her three sons, Allen Lewis and wife Cathy of Cabot, Art Lewis and wife Susanne of Orange, TX, and Andy Lewis of Little Rock; one brother, Bruce Withers and wife Lanette of Fort Necessity, LA; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 18th at First Free Will Baptist Church, 1301 Mimosa St. in North Crossett with Bro. Jason Bates officiating followed by an interment at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
