Edward Lane Sims, 46, of Three Creeks, Arkansas, passed away on February 5, 2017. He was born July 31, 1970, and was a lifelong resident of Three Creeks. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, a truck driver, a heavy equipment operator and a member of Three Creeks Baptist Church. His love for his family was evident in everything he did and he was always very thankful for being the one selected by his adoptive parents, Frank and Melba Langley Sims, who he dearly loved. He was very vocal about his love for his devoted wife, Sharrise, and very thankful God had brought them together. His children were his world and even though he was a truck driver, he was always determined to be home every weekend to spend time with his kids, his wife and his bulldog, “Einstein”.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Frank Sims, and his grandparents, Edward and Floy Langley.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharrise Briery-Sims, of Camden, two daughters, Hallie Clingen and husband Michael of Three Creeks, AR, Shelby Sims of Atlanta, TX, and one son, Will Sims of Atlanta, TX, his mother, Melba Sims, of Three Creeks, AR, one brother, Paul Sims and wife Wendy, and one nephew/”little buddy”, Caden Sims, of Three Creeks, AR, along with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Shiloh Cemetery in Three Creeks, AR under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett, AR.
