Freddie Ann Sharp Obituary

Freddie Ann Sharp, 68, of Crossett, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.  She was born in Dumas, TX on January 4, 1949, to her parents, Fredrick and Alice Ara Estes Weaver.  She worked for many years for Safeway Grocery Store and later for Brookshires and was an active member of Meridian Baptist Church. 

She was a Sunday School teacher and someone who always helped cook for families whenever needed. 

She was an amazing artist, but she also enjoyed genealogy, flower gardening, and spending time with her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Frankie Dwight Weaver; and two great-nephews, Jeffrey Lynn and Jared Lewis Myers (infant twins).

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Clyde Sharp; one daughter, Lisa Sharp; and one sister, Patsy Stuard all of Crossett; four nephews, Jeffrey Myers, Larry Myers, Frankie Weaver, Jr., and Timothy Weaver; and two special great-nephews, Torrey Weaver and Jarrett Myers.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 2nd at Meridian Baptist Church, 4593 Ashley Rd 703, in Crossett with Pastor Garry Massey officiating, followed by an interment at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Anthony Ashbrooks, Albert Mills, Joey Mills, Sawyer Hicks, Francisco Mondragon, Chesley Andrews, Jr. and Aaron Smith.

Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1st also at the church.
