Services for Glenna Sue Langley, 74 of Tyler, TX were held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Stewart Funeral Home in Tyler, with Pastors Pat Alvey and Tim Roberts officiating.
Mrs. Langley went to sing praises to her Lord on July 21, 2016. She was born on September 3rd, 1941 in Bowie, Texas to Zeph and Dean Fancher.
A talented vocalist and a loving mentor, she dedicated her life toministry by teaching children's choir and worshipping through music as a prominent member of the Green Acres Celebration Choir and the Friendly Baptist Church Choir. She attended Bible Study Fellowship for seventeen years and served as a children's teacher within the BSF. She and her surviving husband, Bill Langley continued ministry very late in life with numerous trips to Israel and Africa.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, Zeph and Dean Fancher and her sister Pat Rogers.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Langley, her loving children, Jeff Jones and wife Debbie, Cynthia Pierce and fiancé Don, Greg Langley and wife Stephanie, Kelly Parish and husband Bart, fifteengrandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Pierce, Jacob Pierce, Adrian Jones, Blake Langley, Cole Langley, Conner Parish and Casey Parish.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the numerous remaining grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Cemetery in Three Creeks, Arkansas under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett.
