Gregory Scott Brantley

Greg Brantley, 55, of Crossett, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 9, 2016.  He was born on October 6, 1960, to Grady and Nell Brantley and lived in Crossett the majority of his life.  Along with helping out with his family’s dry cleaning business, he also worked several years as an Ashley County Deputy Sherriff and a Private Detective in Dallas, Texas.  He enjoyed hunting and especially loved fishing.

He is preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer Nicole Brantley. His survivors include his wife, Vanessa Forrest Brantley; one daughter, Sybrina Brantley; his parents, Grady and Nell Brantley; one sister, Donna Odom and husband Robert all of Crossett; one brother, Jeff Brantley and wife Brenda of Dallas, TX; and one granddaughter, Rhiannon Morrision also of Crossett; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12th at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett with Bro. Keith Boseman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arkansas Baptist Health Medical Center.
