Jonathan David Wallace, 25, of Crossett, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born in Las Vegas, NV on June 22, 1990, to his parents, Donald and Lisa Wallace. Jon enjoyed playing the drums, playing games, and building things, but especially loved fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Destiny Morgan Wallace of Crossett; his parents, Donald and Lisa Walthall Wallace of Hamburg; one sister, Sara Helseth and husband David of Meeker, OK; grandparents, Jesse and Betty Walthall of Crossett; and Herbert and Charlie Mae Wallace of Hamburg; his mother-in-law, Jamie Herson of Crossett; father-in-law, Gary Morgan of Crossett; great-grandmother, Relda Perry of Crossett; grand mother-in-law, Nita Curtis of Crossett; sister-in-law, Addie Sue Morgan of Crossett; brother-in-law, Dean Morgan of Magnolia; one niece, Rylie Helseth of Meeker, OK; two nephews, Carson Helseth and Kaden Branscum also of Meeker, OK.; two uncles, Kieth Wallace of Hamburg and Terry Walthall and wife Anna of Texarkana; one aunt, Jan Stephenson and husband, Bryon of Monticello; seven cousins, Klent and Shea Wallace; Jesse, Rebecca and Will Stephenson, and Kaitlyn and Lainey Walthall; and his beloved dog “Max”.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7th at Medders Funeral Home Chapel, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett, followed by an interment at Promise Land Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m., Friday, May 6th also at the funeral home.
