Micah Pippen Obituary

Micah Wayne Pippen, 14, of Crossett, died on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.  He was born on December 20, 2000 in Bastrop, LA., and was currently in the 9th grade at Crossett Public Schools. Micah loved being outdoors with his family, and friends. He especially had a passion for hunting, and fishing.  He also enjoyed riding his four wheeler, or his Jeep in the woods every chance he got.

He is preceded in death by his infant brother, Michael Joseph Pippen; and his grandparents, the late Durwood and Pearl Pippen.

Micah is survived by his father, Wayne Pippen and his Wife Jill of Crossett; His mother, Sylvia Brown Freeland and husband Jeff of Gonzales, LA.; three brothers, Bryan Pippen of Crossett, Jarrod Pippen and wife Cheyenne of Hamburg, and Chantz Crymes of Gonzales, LA.; three step brothers, Jarred Freeland , Trent Freeland and wife Kim, and Eric Freeland, all of Beekman LA.; three sisters, Loretta Duncan and husband Emory of Crossett, Montana Withers and husband Lance of Hamburg, and Brandi Crymes Brixey and husband Shane of Gonzales, LA.; His grandparents, Duane Brown, Martha Stanley, Alice “Topsy” Freeland all of Bastrop, LA., Don and Cynthia Sullivan of Crossett; and hosts of, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and classmates.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday September 17, 2015 at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church with pastor John Martin officiating, followed by internment in Crossroads Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bryan Pippen, Jarrod Pippen, Emory Duncan, Mark Brown, Craig Brown and Jacob Pruitt. Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Moyer, George Lewis, Cody Blue, Dillon Blue, Bill Rice, Lance Withers, Cobi Brown, Dillon Brown, Isaac Andrews, Kason Middlebrooks, Britt Courson, Jessie Rice, Don Sullivan, Jacob Baker, Ty Duncan, Kaleb May, Joe Martin, Jacob Martin, Noah Brown, Jonus Brown, Mearle Harper and Ethan White.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church.
