Regina Jordan Obituary

Regina Ann Jordan, 53, of Crossett passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the Ashley County Medical Center.  She was born on February 16, 1963, in Bastrop, Louisiana to her parents, Harlan Gene and Marilyn Ruth Laing.  She was a 1982 graduate of Crossett High School and a member of Pine Forrest Missionary Baptist Church.  Regina was an employee of Georgia Pacific and in her free time, she enjoyed relaxing at the river, entertaining her family, and spending time with her three grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Veta Mae Jordan.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Alex Steven “Stebo” Jordan of Crossett; one daughter, Sarah Halley and husband Cory of Hamburg; one son, Rusty Jordan and wife Whitney of Crossett; one brother, Michael Laing and wife Beverly of Crossett; one sister, Margaret Kinnaird and husband Jeremy of Bastrop, LA; three grandchildren, Kodie, Kayden, and Caleb Halley of Hamburg; one father-in-law, Doyle Jordan of Crossett; and two brother-in-laws, Sammy Jordan of Crossett, and Thomas Jordan and wife Lisa of Monroe, LA.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 8th at Beech Street Baptist Church, 500 Beech St, Crossett with Bro. Donnie Dubose and Bro. Elvin McDill officiating followed by an interment at Egypt Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett.

A visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7th at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in North Crossett.
