Sheila McNeice Obituary

 

Ms. Sheila Anne Mills McNeice, 64, of Crossett passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.  She was born on December 29, 1950 to Leland Obie and Sally Palesteene Mills.  She was a Baptist and a former resident of Lake Village.  She had many hobbies and talents including quilting, jewelry making, embroidery work, gardening and fishing.  Sheila worked many years as an LPN after graduating from the Forest Echoes Vocational School and was a member of the Arkansas Nurses Association, but her most beloved title was grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, A.J. Mills and Wallace Ray Mills.

She is survived by one son, Robert McNeice and wife Shannon of Lake Village; two grandsons, Robert Peyten McNeice of Crossett and Garrett Destin McNeice of Lake Village; one granddaughter, Briannon Desirea McNeice of Lake Village; one great grandson, Kyle Nash McNeice of Crossett; one brother, E.O. Mills of Crossett; one sister, Morene Hisaw of Lake Village; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ms. McNeice’s wishes were that she be cremated and her cremated remains buried at Antioch Cemetery.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 15th at Medders Funeral Home Chapel, 1564 Hwy 52 W in North Crossett with Bro. Bobby Franklin officiating.
