Sheryl "Sherry" (Kelly) Wisecarver

Sheryl “Sherry” Wisecarver, 64, of Crossett, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at her home.  She was born in Miami, FL on June 23, 1953, to her parents, George Harden, and Ella Hickerson Kelly.  She grew up in Avon Park, FL and moved with her family to Crossett at the age of 17.  She was a Baptist and a member of the CHS Class of 1971.  For 22 years, she worked for the Crossett School District as a cafeteria worker until her retirement.  Sherry was a loving person who was content staying home watching QVC, playing electronic games, or just admiring the butterflies outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her husband of 33 years, Phillip Wisecarver of Crossett; three daughters, Angie McCay Bass and husband, Steven, of Houston, TX, Kelly McCay Dumas of Crossett, and Carrie Wisecarver and fiancé, Jackson Gammel, also of Crossett; one son, Trae Wisecarver and wife, Liz, of College Station, TX; three sisters, Naomi Crunkelton and husband, Jack, of Asheville, NC, Judy Blackburn and husband, Joe, of Ruskin, FL, and Cindy Martin and husband, David, of Dubach, LA; one brother, Wayne Kelley and wife, Barbara, of Alexander, AR; along with five grandchildren, Philip Roarke Pamplin, Hunter Lee Pamplin, Sydney McCayla Dumas, and Ashleigh and Austin Letterman.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5th at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, Crossett with Rev. Charles Miller officiating, followed by an interment at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.  Pallbearers are Roarke Pamplin, Hunter Pamplin, Ross Sinks, Dustin Floyd, Justin Jackson, and Jackson Gammel.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 4th at Medders Funeral Home.
