A resident of Greensburg, LA and a native of New Orleans, LA died on November 11, 2015 at Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett, AR. She was born March 27, 1938 in New Orleans, LA and was 77 years of age. She retired from Feliciana Forensic Facility and was a Past Matron of Greensburg Chapter 158. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Lisa Parrish and husband, Mike, Amite, LA, Sandra R. O'Quin, Oskya, MS and Vickie Redmond Lane and husband, Terry, Kentwood, LA; son in law, Shelton "Red" Pittman, Kentwood, LA; 8 grandchildren, Susan Rice, Hamburg, AR, Jessica Shoemaker, Monroe, LA,  Brandon Parrish, Amite, LA, Leslie Lord, McComb, MS, Stacy Pittman, Montpelier, LA, Steven Redmond, Hammond, LA, Jennifer Anstey, California and Jeffrey O'Quin, Oskya, MS; 10 great grandchildren; 3 step children, Richard and Kathy Wales, Walker, LA, Billie J. Johnson, Ethel, LA and Kathy Burge, Angola, LA. She is also survived by her sister, Bobbie Bezet, Texas and a brother, Walter Thornhill, Port Allen, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Lillian Thornhill; husbands, Clifton Redmond and Lanis Wales, Jr.; daughter, Terri Pittman and sisters, Peggy Travis and Karen Thornhill. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, LA from 6 PM until 9 PM, Monday and from 9 AM until religious services at 11 AM Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Services conducted by Dr. Danny Smith.
