Nancy Louise (Mills) Herault

Nancy Louise Mills Herault, age 79, passed away on March 2, 2024, at the Nightingale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on July 29, 1944, to her parents, Wallace and Effie Pippen Mills and was a graduate of Crossett High School.

Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the Arkansas A & M University in Monticello (currently UAM) and taught elementary school for several years.  While teaching in Crossett, she met her soon to be husband, Pete Herault, a chemist who worked for Georgia Pacific and later worked for Certain Teed Roofing.  After transferring to Pennsylvania, they were privileged to travel extensively in the states and abroad.

Following Pete’s death in 2008, Nancy returned to Crossett in 2012, where she resided at the Pillars for ten years and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Crossett.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one brother, Curtis Mills; and one sister, Elizabeth Kelley.

She leaves behind one sister, Virginia Morgan of Crossett; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

No services will be held at this time.
