Charles "ET" Edward Tew, Jr, 54, of Crossett, passed away, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at his residence. He was born on May 19, 1963, in El Dorado, AR and was a lifetime resident of Crossett. He loved cooking and worked as a cook for various places all over town for many years along with roofing houses. In his free time you could find him fishing, hunting, playing with his dogs, working in his flower beds, watching Atlanta Braves baseball, among with other sports, or playing a casual game of horseshoes with his friends. E.T. had a big heart and a loveable soul and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Alice Cooper; and his grandparents, grandmother and grandfather Burchfield.
He is survived by two sons, Jeremey Barnett and wife Brittany, and Jason Barnett and wife Nikki; his father, Charles Tew, Sr. and wife, Glenda, of Little Rock; two sisters, Charlene Rice and husband, Tommy, of Crossett, and Chassity Tew of Montrose; two brothers, Dale Cooper and wife, Robin, of McGehee, and Allen Tew and wife, Kelly, of Montrose; five grandchildren, Josh, Hunter, Nataley, Jordan and Noah Barnett; four cousins, James, Jimmy, and Jill Dean Tew, and Johnny Burchfield; one nephew, Steven Nelms; and two special friends and caretakers, K.K. Henry and James Poole.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 2nd at Medders Funeral Home Chapel, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in North Crossett, with Bro. Carlton White officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Medders Funeral Home.
