Claudine (Johnson) Huff

Claudine Huff, 79, of Fountain Hill, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at her home.  She was born on October 15, 1939, in Bastrop, LA to her parents, John Ike and Ela Hollis Johnson.  Claudine worked for Georgia Pacific for fourteen years and was a member of the Church of Christ of Hamburg.  She was a selfless mother who enjoyed fishing, and crocheting, and a grandmother who adored her grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie E. “Buddy” Huff, one grandson, Ricky Evans; two granddaughters, Jordan Huff and Misty Bridges; and one son-in-law, John Evans.

She is survived by four daughters, Cindy Evans of Milo, Beverly Key (John) of Crossett, Holly Huff Bond (Terry) of Lake Village, and Leslie Huff also of Crossett; one son, Clifford Nutt-Huff of Fountain Hill; two brothers, James Johnson of Bastrop, LA, and Bennett Johnson of Mer Rouge, LA; along with eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

There will be no services held at this time.
