Dianne (Harris) Green

Johnnie Dianne Green, 71, of Crossett, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2018, at her home.  She was born on July 13, 1947, to her parents, John and Bernice Bailey Harris.  She was raised in Conway, Arkansas and eventually moved to Crossett with her husband in 1985.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and watching her grandkids play baseball.  She was not just a loving wife to her husband, a proud mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, and a caring sister but a best friend to each of her family members and was the one everyone could count on.  Her selfless nature and unconditional love touched many lives and she will be forever missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Bradley Gray.  She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Leonard Green of Crossett; five children, Lisa Mischelle Hill and husband, Shannon, of Texarkana, AR, Sammy Allen Gray and fiancé’, Lisa, of Conway, Larry Dewayne Gray and wife, Debbie, of Benton, Stacy Dianne Courson and husband, George, of Crossett, and Timothy Phillip Green and wife, Donna, also of Crossett; one sister, Ethelyn Harmon and husband, Charles, of Crossett; one brother, Jim Harris and wife, Mary Jo, of Little Rock; fourteen grandchildren, Jessica Wallace, Carter Hinze, Tyler, Brandon, and Tanner Courson, Alyssa, Haley, Jacob, Kyle, Josh, Morgan, and Mandy Gray, Misti Jackson, and Dillon Davis; and eight great-grandchildren, Grace, Gavin, and Grady Wallace, Blakley and Zoey Tully, Conner, Raini and Maelea Jackson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 3rd at Medders Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Evans officiating, followed by interment at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.  Pallbearers are Brandon Courson, Tanner Courson, Josh Gray, Carter Hinze, Justin Harmon, and Tyler Courson.  Honorary pallbearers are Gavin Wallace, Mason Chandler, and Sean Gaught.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made toward Mrs. Dianne’s funeral service.
