Eddie Clois Hill, 53, of Hamburg, died Thursday, August 30, 2018, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born on January 4, 1965, in Morton, Mississippi to his parents, Clois and Doris Francis Hill.
Eddie grew up in Vicksburg MS, loved horses, and as a boy, enjoyed riding with his parents and 5 sisters. In 1988, he moved to Hamburg and spent his time doing work with his Mama. Eddie was always there to help her with anything she needed. He enjoyed being outside and making things grow. He not only worked in his garden, but he had a variety of citrus trees he cared for. Eddie had a big heart and was loved by his family which was evident by how his nieces and nephews adored him. He was very uplifting to his family and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, AC and Juanita Hoover; father, Clois Hill; a step-father Joel W. Pace; two sisters, Rebecca Strickland and Wanda Hoover. He is survived by his mother, Doris Pace of Hamburg; three sisters, Barbara Sorrells and husband, Darrell, of Patterson, MS; Michelle Roberts and husband, Joe, and Ejett Bergeron all of Hamburg; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 2, at Medders Funeral Home Chapel, 1564 Hwy 52 W., Crossett, with Bro. Andy Connaird officiating, followed by a private interment at Crossroads Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m prior to the service.
