Mark Alexander Tyson

Mark Alexander Tyson, 52, of Longview, AR, formerly of Crossett, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at his residence. He was born on April 8, 1967, to his parents, Alex and Betty Tyson, and was a 1985 graduate of Crossett High School. Mark was a lifelong resident of Ashley County and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.

He served in the Arkansas National Guard and worked many years for Steve Bolin Logging. Mark was a hard worker who loved his job being in the woods and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers, and especially loved being with his family.

He was a kind-hearted soul who never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Matthew Lee Tyson; a granddaughter, Amiracle Tyson; and his grandparents, George, and Blanche Tyson, and Doyle and Doris Blankinship.

He is survived by two sons, Mark Allen Tyson and Brady Michael Tyson; and his parents, Alex and Betty Tyson, all of Crossett; three grandchildren; and his ex-wife and long-time friend, Dana Tyson of Collinston, LA

The family will have an informal gathering of family and friends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the home of Alex and Betty Tyson, 2157 Hwy 133 N, in Crossett.
