Michael “Mike” Lee Zollman, 61, of Crossett, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at his home. He was born on August 31, 1957, in Otisco, IN. He spent most of his childhood in Waynesville, MO where he graduated high school in 1974.
For twenty-three years, he worked for Georgia Pacific as a maintenance supervisor until his retirement in 1998.
Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, shopping and walking the aisles at the local Wal-Mart(s). He was a storyteller and was always willing to talk about his son, who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the U.S. Army. He was very proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Chester and Hazel Zollman; his mother, Donna Ann Plummer; one brother, David Alan Zollman; and one sister, Kathy Graves.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Massey Zollman of Crossett; one son, Marty Zollman (Janet) also of Crossett; three daughters, Tracy Baker (Bob) of Belleville, MI, Jennifer Smith (Chris) of Crossett, and Jessica Murphy (Colin) of Orlando, FL; three special children, Kelly Wilcoxen (Steven), Greg Rogers, and Michelle Johnston (Wade) all of Crossett; grandchildren, The Baker boys, Emily, Hazel, Joey, Jaiden, Gunner, Chan-man, Rayelynn, Madison and Nick; twelve brothers and sisters; one brother-in-law, Richard Saseen of Crossett; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15th at Medders Funeral Home Chapel, 1564 Hwy 52 W, Crossett.
Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Friday, September 14th at Medders Funeral Home.
