Nancy Ann Baker Thompson, 81, of Lake Village, Arkansas, formerly of Hamburg, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. She was born January 3, 1937, in Pine Bluff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ethel Brown, and brother, Ricky Brown.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Marshall Fred Thompson of Lake Village; sister Joyce Lynn Baker of Lake Village; children, Vicki Dougan of Sarasota, AR., Cindy Knight of Hamburg, Donna Anderson (Ronnie) of Paron, AR., Lisa Brown (Bruce) of Monticello, Jimmy Clay Knight (Beth) of Sheridan, AR, Debbie Sharp (Bruce) of Crossett, and Shelly Diestel (Jim) of Fort Worth, TX; twenty-six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Fran Jones of Mt. Ida, AR.
A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 7th at the Crossroads Cemetery in the Crossroads community, Crossett, AR. Immediately following the service, family and friends will gather at the old home place in Pine Hill, 2795 Hwy 133 North, Hamburg, AR.
