Albert Glenn Glover, 86, of Crossett, passed away at his home on March 15, 2022. He was born on January 1, 1936, and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Albert graduated from Star City High School and served honorably in the United States Army for six years.
He was a talented carpenter and self-employed handyman for fifty-seven years and enjoyed gardening and playing guitar.
He is preceded in death by one son, Barry Glenn Glover; his parents, Virgil and Edna Glover; five brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife and devoted caregiver for sixty-four years, Wanda Barrett Glover; two sons, Keith Glover (Lori) of Alexander, AR, and Ben Glover of Fayetteville, AR; one sister, Lenora Whitehead of Star City, AR; and one brother, Gerald Glover (Judy) of Pickens, OK; along with six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 18th, at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett, with Bro. Mike Loveday, officiating. Pallbearers are Jarred Glover, Jon Glover, Zach Snow, Drew Mason, Drew Wright, and Jacob Glover.
Interment will be at the Lone Sassafras Cemetery in Monticello, AR, when cemetery conditions permit.
Visitation will be immediately following the service at Medders Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
