Alicia Kay Liles, 39, of Crossett, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at the Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. She was born on February 5, 1981, to her parents, Jimmy and Deborah Carter Ross.
While growing up, she lived in various places, including Monticello, AR, Ruston, LA, and eventually Crossett, where she graduated high school in 1999. She earned an Associate Degree in Medical Coding from the Rasmussen Online College and worked at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett for the last twelve years
Alicia enjoyed cooking, reading books and poetry, and writing in her journal. She also enjoyed listening to music and was gifted with a beautiful singing voice.
Alicia was highly intelligent and adored her children. She was a sweet and caring wife, mother, daughter, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee Ross.
Her survivors include her husband of 18 years, Jonathan Liles; her three children, Noah, Abigail, and Sophia Liles; her mother, Debbie Carter Ross; and her grandmother, Allene Carter, all of Crossett; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, Crossett, with Bro. Joey Johnson, officiating.
Medders Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funerals and visitations according to the Arkansas Governor’s mandates. All attendees must provide and wear a face mask upon entering and comply with social distancing and sanitizing guidelines.
Temperatures will be scanned, and masks are required for entry.
Those that are considered high risk, running fever, or have been recently exposed to someone positive with COVID-19 are encouraged to stay home to protect themselves and others.
