Amanda Hillary Shores McCrory, 40, of Bay Minette, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was born in Hope, Arkansas on March 1, 1982, and was a 2000 graduate of Hope High School.
Hillary was an extremely intelligent free spirit who loved life. She could light up any room with her beautiful smile and infectious personality. She was tender hearted, compassionate, and giving and loved her family immensely.
Her one dream in life was to be a mom. God granted her wish, and she loved her girls with every ounce of her being. She shared her love of cooking, baking, and making crafts with them and cherished every moment they shared.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Vaughn Rice, and Dr. Stephen Shores.
She is survived by two daughters, Aubrey, and Kennedy McCrory and two stepdaughters, Ashley and Grace McCrory all of Alabama; mother, Kathy Rice Menah (Wise) of Clinton, AR; and father, Mark Shores of Irving, TX; along with three siblings, Holden Menah (Johanna) of Springfield, MO, and Hadleigh and Harley Menah of Clinton, AR; her grandmother, Louise Rice, also of Clinton; one niece, Sophia Menah of Springfield, MO; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 13th, at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett with Bro. Daniel Bramlet, officiating followed by interment at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Holden Menah, Harley Menah, Wise Menah, Charlie Rice, Sammie Blackmon, Robert Rice, Dillion Rice, and Austin Rice.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
