Angel “Tyann” Collins, 45, of Crossett, passed away, on Sunday, April 20, 2025. She was born on April 28, 1979, and was a member of Fountain Hill First Baptist Church.
Tyann was a woman of many joys. She loved to travel, explore thrift stores and garage sales, and had a particular talent for painting rocks—each with a unique expression of her creativity. Her true artistry, however, was found in the kitchen. Family and friends often gathered around her table to enjoy delicious dishes including chipped beef and chicken over noodles, her unforgettable coconut cake, and her famous carrot cake, each made with love.
Tyann dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a Home Health CNA, a role that suited her perfectly—she had a heart as big as her smile and a natural gift for comforting those in need.
Above all else, Tyann’s greatest devotion was to her beloved daughter, Aleena. Being a mother was the role she cherished most, and everything she did was rooted in providing love, support, and happiness for her child.
Tyann will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the love she gave—freely, deeply, and without hesitation. Her legacy is one of kindness, care, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Boyd and Peggy Lynn Sheridan; one sister, Donna Ross; and her beloved boxer, “Gracie”
She leaves behind her husband of eight years, Michael Collins; and one daughter, Aleena Collins both of Crossett; one sister, Wanda Smith of Hermitage, AR; and one brother, Jay Hall (Suzy) of Maumelle, AR; sister in-law, Kim Gilley (Joe) of Crossett, and their daughter, Tara Stephens (Justin) of Senatobia, MS; along with in-laws, Tim and Melanie Collins, Randy Collins, Linda and Randy Moore, and Johnny and Karen Garrett; and beloved nieces, Jessica, Nicole, Michelle, Samantha, Amber, Desha, and Maria; and a special Godson, Payton Evans.
Her family will hold a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 3rd, at Grace Christian Fellowship Church, 912 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd, in Crossett, with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Care entrusted to Medders Funeral Home of Crossett.
