Angela Marie Craig

Angela Marie Craig, 39, of Bastrop, formerly of Crossett, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019.  She was born in Crossett, AR, on June 20, 1980, and was a 1999 graduate of Crossett High School.

Many knew Angie from Andy’s Restaurant, where she worked for several years, and will always be remembered for her smiling face and bubbly personality. 
Angie was crazy, outspoken, one-of-a-kind, and could even be bossy at times. She loved her family dearly and was always there for them, even cooking and cleaning.  Angie had a beautiful singing voice and often enjoyed sitting around the table with her friends and family playing cards. She was her son’s number one fan at his football games, as well as proudly watching her daughter play in the band. She was a proud mother who adored her children and dearly loved her fiancé, Shawn. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Keith Craig; her grandparents, Billy and Gail Howie and Roy and Edith Craig; two uncles, John Paul Craig and David Craig; and her best friend, Jennifer Davidson.

She is survived by her fiancé, Shawn White of Bastrop, LA; her mother, Cindy Craig of Crossett; one daughter, Amber Sinks of Crossett; one son, Austin Boykin also of Crossett; two sisters, Jennifer Craig Haen (Michael) of Hamburg, and A.J. Craig of Crossett; one brother, Brad Howie (Emily Flores) of Crossett; two aunts, Cathy Howie and Patricia Martin also of Crossett; two nieces, Brylee Howie and Helen Haen; two nephews, Jase Craig and Mikey Haen; and a host of other friends and family. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 7th at Medders Funeral Home Chapel 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett with Pastor Lyle Hern officiating, followed by interment at Hollis Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.  Pallbearers are Andy Reynolds, Clint Barnett, Ryan Edney, TJ Maxwell, Lonnie Martin, and Chris Adkins. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Knight, Landon Greene, Daniel Dumas, and Stan Stahley.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Medders Funeral Home.
