IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, SERVICE WILL BE MOVED TO MEDDERS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 1324 HWY 287 W, MONTICELLO.
Beverly Ann Davidson Hood, age 78 of Monticello, passed away peacefully at her home on November 3, 2024. She was born on February 9, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas to her late parents, Lloyd Junior Davidson and Reba Faye Gasaway- Davidson.
Beverly had a deep love for the outdoors, often found nurturing her beautiful yard and tending to her beloved flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family whom she dearly loved. An enthusiastic shopper, she enjoyed collecting unique items. Her vibrant personality and passion for life were evident in everything she did.
A dedicated professional, Beverly retired as a personnel office manager and bookkeeper, having worked at MonArk Boats, Burlington Industries, and ESA Staffing all in Monticello. She was a 1964 graduate of Monticello High School and a member of Pauline Baptist Church.
Beverly is survived by her three children, Danny Crook of Monticello, Michelle Armstrong and Terri Larson (Brad) of Cordele, GA, a sister Carolyn Pierce (Zan) of Monticello; eleven grandchildren Amanda Crook, Kristen Crook, Steven Crook, Taylor Crook, Courtney Hamaker, Patrick Smith, Whitney Smith, DJ Richardson, Justin Larson, Raygan Larson and Lindsey Baker (Seth); sixteen great grandchildren; her best friend and caregiver, Vera Wiley, and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 5th, at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello with Bro. Chris Prior officiating and providing music. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
