Billy Ed Miller, 84, of Hamburg passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the St. Francis Medical Center surrounded by his family. Affectionately known as “Pop”, Billy was a 1960 graduate of Crossett High School and continued to live in the Crossett/Hamburg area his entire life except for a brief time living in Nashville, TN where he worked at the Southern Baptist Bookstore warehouse.

Billy was a Deacon at South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church and also served as Sunday School teacher and Sunday School superintendent for many years. Some of his favorite memories were spending Spring Break with the boys at the fishing camp and watching the NCAA basketball tournament. Billy loved the Arkansas Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys (most of the time). In his later years he developed a joy for watching various rodeos on TV.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl “Shorty” Miller and Ouida Crouch Miller, a brother Jimmy Miller, a sister Susie Jerry and great granddaughter Bristol Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Katherlene Miller, sons Roger Miller of Hamburg, Jeff Miller (Vondra) of Neosho, MO, Steve Miller (Deb) of Byhalia, MS and Phillip Miller (Michelle) of West Monroe, LA. He also had a quiver full of grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
