Bobby Louis Collier, 86, of Crossett, formerly of North Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023.   Born on January 14, 1937, to his proud parents, Thomas Ralph and Myrtle Burcham Collier, Bobby's journey through life was marked by his unwavering faith, his love for music, and his infectious sense of humor.

Bobby led a fulfilling and rewarding life, exemplifying the values of dedication and service. He dedicated many years of his professional life to the city, retiring from his position at the Little Rock Wastewater facility.

 In 1983, Bobby, driven by his unwavering devotion to his faith, was instrumental in the formation of the Morgan Full Gospel Church in Morgan, AR.  One of the great passions of Bobby's life was music. He was an accomplished guitar player. He shared his love for music and its power to uplift the soul with all those around him.  Faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he found profound joy in expressing it through music. He was very active in southern gospel worship music in the community, a calling that brought immense fulfillment to his life.  Bobby's service in the church was not limited to his guitar playing; he was an essential member of the church band, a cornerstone of the congregation, and a source of inspiration for all who worshipped alongside him.

Beyond his profound talents and dedication, Bobby was also known for his wonderful sense of humor. He had a unique ability to bring laughter and light-heartedness to any situation, lifting the spirits of those fortunate enough to be in his company. His jovial and good-natured personality made him a beloved figure among his family and friends.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Collier Murphy; one brother, Kenneth Collier; a daughter-in-law, Donna Gayle Collier; and one great-grandson, John Derek Anderson.

He leaves behind his two sons, Tim Collier of Hamburg, and Rusty Collier (Charlotte) of North Little Rock; and one daughter, Shannon Sisk (Chris) of Crossett; along with eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 2nd at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett, with Bro. Rocky Hickman, officiating, followed by interment at Carlock Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Tim Collier, Jr., Allen Collier, Chris Collier, Thomas Rice, Caleb Anderson, and Nick Anderson.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., November 1st, at Medders Funeral Home.
