Bobby Glen Curran, 63, of Crossett, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. He was born on October 22, 1958, to his parents, Elvin, and Shirley Jackson Curran. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett and a member of Rolfe Chapel Baptist Church.
Bobby enjoyed reading, playing video games with his nephews, spending time with his friends at Lake GP, and watching westerns. He was also an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Bobby was sometimes mistaken for Uncle Si Robertson and loved the attention it brought; he was a fun and devoted uncle and had an incredible love for his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind his daughter, Lisa Rhodes (Derek); two sisters, Kathy Norris (James) and Shirley Carter of Crossett; three brothers Charlie, Jimmy, and Donnie Curran, one granddaughter, Emma Rhodes, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Carlock Cemetery with Bro. Carlton White, officiating.
Pallbearers are Kevin Cessor, Michael White, Galen Cessor, Wayne Mosley, James Rollow, Dennis Murphy, Dawson Mosley and Tracy Kelley. Honorary pallbearer is Daylen Mosley.
Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett prior to the service.
