Bonnie Fay (Bridges) Geahlen

Bonnie Fay Bridges Geahlen, 67, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at her residence.  Bonnie attended Portland School, was a former Wal-Mart employee, and a member of Union Baptist Church in El Dorado.  In addition, she was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing and reading True Crime books in her free time.

She is preceded in death by her mother and step father, Ethel and Marlin Parks; her father, Connie Bridges; and three brothers, Larry Bridges, Jr., Hubert Bridges, and Billy Joe Bridges.

She is survived by one daughter, Melinda Mills and husband Mike of Hamburg; one son, Adrian Austin of Monticello; four grandchildren, Caleb and Brianna Mills of Hamburg, and Anthony and Autumn Austin of El Dorado; three sisters, Juanita Parks and Betty Crow both of Lake Village, and Virginia “Ginner” Pennington of Eudora; and one brother, Mack Bridges of Lake Village.

A Funeral service and will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Medders Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Abels officiating followed by an interment at Hickory Grove Cemetery weather permitting.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett.
