Bonnie Pearl Mathews, age 71, of North Crossett, Arkansas, went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 8, 2023. Bonnie was born and raised in Dermott, Arkansas on January 25, 1952 to John Benjamin and Beatrice Hollis. Bonnie was a member of Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church, she enjoyed drawing, painting, gardening, reading, fishing trips with her husband, and above all else spending time and talking with her family and friends.
Bonnie is survived by: her husband of thirty-three years, Michael Lewis Mathews, children: Rick (Rhonda) Parris, Bo Parris, Dusti Blankenship, and Whitney (Zach) King, her brothers and sisters: Tommy (Linda Kay) Hollis, Shirley (Walter) Watson, Mary(Charlie) Wells, Carolyn (David) Jordan, and Benjie (Louise) Hollis, grandchildren: Sarah Philips, Ricky Parris, Jack (April)Parris, Tyler Rhae (Tyler) Jones, Jodie Blankenship, Wesley(Ashley) Blankenship, Brayden Hill, and Christopher Hill, four great-grandchildren: Skyler, Paisley, Shiloh, and Rebel, along with many nieces, nephews, other family members, and close friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 11th, at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett.
Chapel. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 12th, at Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church, 765 Ashley Rd 70, in Hamburg, Arkansas with Pastor Josh Luellen, officiating, followed by interment at Lick Prairie Cemetery. Pallbearers are Wesley Blankenship, Zach King, Tyler Jones, Aaron Jennings, Jacob Moffatt, Jack Parris, and Ricky Parris. Honorary pallbearers are Brayden Hill and Christopher Hill.
