Carolyn Ann Wadhwani, 70, of Crossett, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was born on December 8, 1953, in Marshall, Missouri and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crossett.
A graduate of Slater High School in 1971, Carolyn pursued her academic interests and earned a bachelor’s degree in art education from Central Missouri State University. Her love for the arts became a lifelong pursuit that she would later share with students and fellow community members.
In 2014, Carolyn retired from Hood Packaging, leaving behind a successful career. However, her commitment to her community did not waver. Carolyn also played a pivotal role in bringing carnivals back to Crossett, creating joyous memories for generations to come.
Her dedication extended beyond community organizations. Carolyn served as a former Boy Scout Den Mother for her son's troop and contributed to education as a substitute teacher in the Crossett School System for numerous years.
In addition to her professional and community achievements, Carolyn showcased her artistic flair as a floral designer for Jones Flower Shop for many years, bringing beauty and joy to countless occasions.
