Chandra "Chan" Paige Roberts

Chandra Paige Roberts, 57, of Crossett, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.  Born on March 2, 1967, Chan was a proud graduate of Crossett High School, Class of 1985, and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.

A dreamer with a determined spirit, Chan co-founded the Country Vittles Restaurant with her mother, Becky, where she poured her heart into serving others, until her health declined. It was more than just a business—it was her passion, a dream fulfilled.  

Loving all she encountered with a heart full of trust and generosity, Chan possessed the rare ability to see the best in people and show the less fortunate that someone cared. Despite her hardships, she never let them dampen her spirit. She was fierce and fearless, and faced every challenge head-on, never letting her disabilities define her.

She found great joy in both singing and the love provided by her fur baby, Lucky, a black lab who was not only her loyal companion but a source of comfort. 

She leaves behind her parents, Merchel, Sr. and Rebecca “Becky” Pace Roberts; one sister, Tasha Mason; and one brother, Bo Roberts, all of Crossett; along with two nephews, Brock Burrow (Dianna) of Magnolia, AR, and Jake Roberts (Britni) of Hensley, AR; one niece, Haley Burrow of Little Rock, AR; a bonus sister, Theresa "Taz" Amerson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, February 7th, at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett, with Pastor Joey Johnson, officiating, followed by interment at Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.  Pallbearers are Brock Burrow, Jake Roberts, Frankie Tanksley, Jeff Pace, Keith Pace, and Kenny Pace.  Honorary pallbearers are Tony Blann, Paul Pace, Shannon Pace, Iba Aiken, and Earl Carter.

Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
