Charles Elba “Bud” Wilcox, 72, of Crossett, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Audrey’s Special Home in Hamburg, Arkansas. He was born on July 6, 1949, to his parents, Don, and Manthy Knight Wilcox. He lived most of his life in Crossett and for forty-three years he worked as a forklift driver at the Georgia Pacific Plywood Plant.
Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and listening to country music, but especially loved spending time with his ‘little ones’. His family meant everything to him.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Adina Ann Wilcox; three brothers, Johnny, Sam, and Robert Wilcox; two sisters, Edith Winbury and Judy Ross; and one granddaughter, Angela Denise Wilcox; along with two great-grandchildren, Hunter, and Gracie Threet; and two nephews, Adam Bond, and Scott Wilcox.
He leaves behind his wife of fifty-three years, Marcia Boseman Wilcox whom he loved dearly; and two daughters, Pat Raney (Bo), and Pam McIntosh (William) both of Crossett; one sister, Shirley Bond Lyons; and one brother, Gordon Wilcox (Joyce) also of Crossett; and two great-granddaughters, Makynzi Threet and Hadlee Raney.
The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
