Christine Marie Miller Ramey of Crossett, passed away on April 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Christine had a deep love for God and found joy in sharing her faith with others. She especially loved caring for children at church and was known for her kind and nurturing spirit. A talented writer, she also had a passion for photography, taking great pride in capturing southern gospel groups at bluegrass festivals. She loved gospel music and was a faithful member of Meridian Baptist Church. Christine adored her dogs, Harley, Roxie, and Dolly, and in her spare time enjoyed playing the piano, coloring, and creating crafts. She was a thoughtful and giving person who never forgot others, often remembering birthdays with cards or small gifts to remind them they were loved.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Clyde Miller; her infant son, Denton; her paternal grandparents, Shorty and Ouida Miller; and her maternal grandfather, Donald Sundquist. Her two aunts; Susie Jerry and Nicki Miller and one Uncle, Billy Miller.
She is survived by her mother, Luanne Marie Miller; one sister, Renee Wallace (Michael); one brother, Don Miller (Brandi); two nieces, Rachel Giaquinto (Jacob) and Hannah Wallace; five nephews, Jonathan Wallace (Kelly), Joshua Wallace, Seth Wallace, Noah Wallace, and Jacob Miller; her grandmother, Jacquelene Sundquist; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends Christy LeGrange, Ann Newell, and Nancy Morgan.
The family is deeply grateful to Uncle Galen Jerry and the Johnsons for the outpouring of love and support shown throughout her illness.
The family would also like to say a special thank you to their Meridian Baptist Church famiy. Their kindness was evident in the many ways they stepped in—assisting with expenses, providing meals, and caring for her pets. These acts of compassion will never be forgotten. The family extends a special appreciation to Bro. Doug Hughes and his wife, Melissa.
The family will have a Memorial Service in her honor on May 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at Meridian Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Hughes officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made in her remembrance to Meridian Baptist Church.
Medders Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
