Daniel Curt Graves, 38, of Crossett, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. He was born on November 28, 1983, to his parents, Ronnie and Tracy Gardner Graves. He was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a 2002 CHS graduate, and most recently, employed as a Load Planner at Convoy Logistics.
After high school, Daniel attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and was an active member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. He attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello for his final year, where he participated on the debate team and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching movies, listening to music, and playing his guitar. However; he reveled in being called “Uncle DanDan” by his his beloved niece, Eleanor, and his family, who he loved immensely, always took priority in his life.
Told by friends that knew him, Daniel was someone who could light up any room, easily join any conversation, and make you laugh until tears rolled down your cheeks. He had a huge personality with an even bigger heart. His genuine care and concern for others was always at the forefront, helping anyone whenever he could. He was a jokester with a willingness to learn and a unique talent for making others feel good about themselves, and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by an infant brother, Wesley Graves; his grandparents, Fred and Doris Graves; great-grandparents, Joy and Erma Gardner and Raymond and Mildred Rackley; and one aunt, Melba Graves.
He leaves behind his parents, Ronnie and Tracy Gardner Graves of Crossett; and one sister, Rachel Garrett (Dylan); and niece, Eleanor Garrett all of Little Rock; along with his grandparents, Ronald and Becky Gardner of Crossett; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Due to the current increase in COVID-19 cases in our area, there will be no public services for Daniel at this time. The family would like to thank all of you for the prayers and overwhelming love shown to them during this time, and they pray God will bless each of you abundantly in return.
