Daryl Ray Courson, Sr

Daryl Ray Courson, Sr., age 85, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on February 4, 1940, to Horace and Evelyn Courson, Daryl lived a life rooted in faith, family, and the simple joys that meant the most to him.

A member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Daryl exemplified kindness, steadiness, and a loving spirit. He cherished time spent with his family, and nothing brought him greater joy than being with his grandsons, Garrett and Griffin - truly one of the greatest highlights of his life. He also found comfort and purpose in tending to his garden and working in the yard.

Daryl's legacy is one of quiet strength, devotion, and deep love for those he held close.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30th at Pinewood Memorial Park with Bro. Clay Courson, officiating.

Visitation will be at Medders Funeral Home on Sunday, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
