Deborah "Debbie" Ann Morgan, 73, of Crossett, passed away on December 17, 2024. She was born on March 14, 1951, and graduated from Crossett High School in 1969.
Debbie worked for Georgia Pacific for over 40 years, in production while also serving as a union steward and safety coordinator, advocating for her coworkers and ensuring their safety and rights were prioritized. She was known for her strong work ethic and wrote numerous articles for the company newsletter. Debbie was admired for her ability to connect with others and was loved by all who knew her.
In her free time, she enjoyed attending concerts, fishing, searching for quartz in Hot Springs, reading, and caring for her beautiful flower garden.
She was an animal lover who absolutely adored her fur babies, but above all, she loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Earl and Eva Joan McKelvy Bush, and two sisters, Laura Kelley and April Bush.
She leaves behind her husband, Phillip Morgan of Crossett; and three children, Ashley Housman of Lakewood, CO, and Marc Bridges and Charles Morgan both of Crossett; along with brother, Jim Bush of El Dorado, AR; sister, Linda Quimby of Strong, AR; brother in-law, Dennis Kelly; her life-long best friend, Ramona Savage; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Per Debbie’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
