Donnie Lee Hicks, Jr., 59, of Monticello, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. He was born on October 21, 1965, in Eudora, Arkansas, and was a proud 1984 graduate of Portland High School.
In his younger years, Donnie had a passion for motocross racing and remained an avid sports fan throughout his life. He loved the outdoors and found great joy in hunting and fishing, pleasures that brought him peace and filled his life with lasting memories.
Donnie began his working life on the farm, a path that instilled in him the value of hard work and resilience. In 2002, he and his brother embarked on a new journey together, founding Quad H Trucking, where his dedication and work ethic helped build a successful business.
Above all, Donnie loved his family fiercely. His loyalty, laughter, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donnie Lee Hicks, Sr. and one brother, Kevin Hicks.
He leaves behind his mother Lillian Kellebrew Hicks “Mazie” of Monticello; one brother, Chris Hicks (Nikia) of Hamburg; and one sister-in-law, Bonnie, also of Hamburg; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
