Eddie Vick, age 80, of Crossett Arkansas formerly of Pine Bluff passed away at home on April 14th 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 24, 1946, to the late Earl Jacks and Hazel Cummings. She was also blessed to have her stepfather Luther Cummings, in her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, better known to them as "Mimi".
Along with her parents, Eddie is proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Earl E. Vick.
She is survived by her sister, Linda Jennings (James) of Benton; her three daughters, Sheri Gibson, Amy Johnson (Herman) of Crossett, Misti Avery (Duane) of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren, Shane, Christen, Dylan, Laci, Gracie, Praycie, Maycie and Zaycie; two great grandchildren, Alaira and Daxon; plus three bonus great grandchildren, Cloe, Gabe and Ryker; her caregiver Carol; and her two faithful companions Rascal and Gretchen; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Eddie dedicated over 60 years of her life as a hairdresser and was the proud owner and operator of "The Hairbender" in Pine Bluff, where she not only built a career but also formed lasting friendships with those she served.
She was a gifted songwriter and had the voice of an angel. Music was a special part of her life, and she especially cherished singing with her daughters whenever they were together.
Eddie loved the Lord deeply and lived her life with faith, kindness, and compassion. She was funny, warm-hearted, and selfless - someone who would give you her last without hesitation. A true peacemaker, she had a gentle spirit and comforting presence. Those who knew her, often said she had a special gift - her touch could take away any pain.
Above all, Eddie loved her family. They were her greatest joy, and her proudest accomplishments and her love will live on through each of them.
The family will be at the home of her daughter Amy, at 236 Marias Saline Road, Crossett. No funeral arrangements are scheduled at this time.
