Elizabeth "Ann" Senn Obituary

Elizabeth “Ann” Senn, 77, of Crossett, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on September 25, 2024, in Little Rock.  She was born on November 11, 1946, in Monroe, Louisiana, and was a cherished resident of the Crossett community for most of her life.

A devoted member of Magnolia Baptist Church, Ann shared her beautiful voice through song and inspired many as a former Sunday School teacher. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished every opportunity to spread that love to others.

Ann's career included many years at H & R Block, followed by her time at the Georgia Pacific Employees Federal Credit Union, where she made lasting friendships. Beyond her professional life, she found joy in the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and working in her beautiful yard.

Ann was a phenomenal cook, especially when it came to preparing wild game, but her talents extended far beyond the kitchen as she was also quite the mechanic, capable of taking apart and fixing just about anything that came her way.

A beloved member of her community, Ann could easily be referred to as "everyone’s mom.”  Whether it be the neighborhood kids or the baseball team, she loved the kids and was always there to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or just lend a listening ear. She had a heart overflowing with compassion, a spirited and fiery personality, and a capacity for love that knew no bounds.

Above all, Ann adored her family, with her grandchildren bringing her the greatest joy. Their presence lit up her face and filled her heart with pride.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Anthony Duffey; her mother, Jackie Bell Styles; two brothers, Ned Duffey, and Jimmy Styles; and one sister, Jaime Styles.

She leaves behind her beloved husband and best friend of fifty-nine years, Larry Senn, who’s been her companion to the top, and to the bottom, and together they saw the light.  Ann also leaves one son, Jeffery David Senn (Michelle) of Lonoke, AR; and two daughters, Wendi Ann Senn, and Teresa Stone both of Crossett; along with two sisters, Rhonda Jean Styles Crouch (Carson), and Judy Swanson Fuller (Jerry); and six grandchildren, Maggie Smith (Dalton), William Noah Senn, Abigail Jacqueline Senn, Clay Wilcoxon (Tatum), Matthew Wilcoxon, and Joseph Bush (fiancé’, Gracie).

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 28th, at the Crossroads Cemetery with Pastor Mike Griffith officiating.  Pallbearers are Clay Wilcoxon, Matt Wilcoxon, Joseph Bush, Dalton Smith, Andy Lloyd, Leon Hamm, and Glenn Knight and honorary pallbearer, Noah Senn.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, at the cemetery prior to the service.
