Ethan Earl Martin, 19, of Crossett, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born on November 24, 2003, and was a 2022 graduate of Crosstimbers Academy in Weatherford, Texas.
He worked alongside his father at L. A. Construction, and was a hard worker, intelligent, and very ambitious.
Ethan’s character was a beautiful blend of strength and outgoingness, a testament to his strong-willed nature. He had a zest for life that was infectious. He cherished the thrill of riding motorcycles, the exhilaration of mud riding, and the peacefulness of fishing by the water's edge. Swimming was also a source of joy for him, and he shared countless unforgettable moments with family and friends at the beach.
His loyalty and devotion to his family knew no bounds. Ethan was a protective brother, always looking out for his sisters with a fierce and unwavering love, but with a mischievous spirit, he also teased and playfully aggravated his sisters.
Ethan had a deep appreciation for the finer things in life, from fancy clothes to fancy cars. His passion for automobiles led him to host car shows, where he could share his enthusiasm and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Ethan Earl Martin was a shining star in the lives of all who knew him. Though his time with us was tragically short, the imprint he left on the hearts of all who knew him will be everlasting.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Cary Pugh; great-grandparents, JR and Ruby Pugh, and Lonnie Lee and Ida Martin; one uncle, Brian Pugh; one great-aunt, Mae Harper; and one great-uncle, Robert “Bob” Martin.
