Gabe Richards

Gabe Richards, 47, of Crossett, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. Born December 24, 1977, Gabe was a 1996 graduate of Crossett High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Crossett.

Gabe had a heart of gold—one that gave out too soon, but not before he gave the gift of life to others through organ donation. He loved the Lord, and his daughter, Ella, more than life itself.  The two shared a special bond, especially fishing and playing softball.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Marteal Richards, and Zemery Noble, Jr.

He leaves behind one daughter, Ella Blakely Richards; his parents, John Grady and Lynn Richards; and one sister, Robin Robinson; along with grandmother, June Noble, one niece, Alaina Robinson; and one nephew, Eli Robinson.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 6th at 2:00 p.m., at Medders Funeral Home, 1564 Hwy 52 W, in Crossett, with Bro. Phillip Slaughter, officiating, followed by interment at Crossroads cemetery, weather permitting, under the direction of Medders Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Nick Austin, Casey Pahal, Jeff Robinson, Eli Robinson, Todd Edwards, Scotty Ward, Scott Stephenson, and Wes McDougald

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Tuesday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Crossett Youth Fund.
