George Leonard Bounds, 79, of Felsenthal, Arkansas, passed away, on Monday, February 28, 2022, at his home.
He was born in Springfield, Missouri, on April 8, 1942, to his parents, Willie, and Marie Gray Bounds and was one of twelve children.
For 20 years, George worked for Schwans Food Service as a sales and delivery driver and was well known to his customers as simply, “Mr. George”. Once he retired, George became the owner and operator of the Track’s Inn Motel in Felsenthal where he spent the remainder of his days fishing and enjoying life. George was a kind and gentle man who enjoyed the simple life and was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Bounds; three sons; Vincent Bounds (Lisa) of Missouri, Marc Bounds of Felsenthal, AR and Harry Bounds (Paula) of Riverview, Florida; two daughters, Joy Williams, of Huttig, AR and Melissa Hubbard (Dale) of Hartman, AR; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
His care was entrusted to Medders Funeral Home.
There will be a family led Celebration of Life at Castleview Country Club in Branson West Missouri, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
