Glynn Tolleson, 89, of Crossett, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024. He was born on April 19, 1935, in Florence, Arkansas, was a longtime resident of Crossett, and served honorably in the United States Army.
Glynn was an active member of South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church, where his faith and fellowship were integral parts of his life.
For thirty-five years, Glynn worked at the Georgia Pacific Papermill, where his hard work and strong work ethic left a lasting legacy. Known for taking great pride in his home and possessions, Glynn’s meticulous care extended to his family’s shoes, which he always kept polished to perfection.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Z. and Myrtle Miller Tolleson; one brother, Lynn Tolleson; and three sisters, Dell Condry, Wilda Hunthrop, and Ruby Wabble.
He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Susie Marie Isom Tolleson of Crossett; one son, Donnie Stevens of Midlothian, TX; and two daughters, LeAnn Oden (Sammy) and Glynda Kay Sapp (Russell) both of Crossett; along with one sister, Thelma Howard of Brooksville, FL; nine grandchildren, Cheri Culbreath, Randal Culbreath (Heather), Dana Smith (Aaron), Cassi Carter (Chase), Nathan, Leslie, and Sierra Stevens, Melissa Sapp (Jimmy Curl), and Lori Sapp (Brandi Hill); twelve great-grandchildren, Ariel Russette (Caden), Amberlyn and Hanli Allen, Ayden Carter, Reagynn, Rileigh, and Reid Culbreath, Kaibry, Brynn, and Ella Smith, and Mackenzie, and Jorga Curl; one great, great-grandson, Brooks Russette; and a host of extended family, church family, and friends.
