Ileasa Owens, 67, of Warren, formerly of Crossett, passed away on April 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born near Lake Charles, Louisiana on February 28, 1959, to her parents, Woodrow and Ileader Blount Hales. During her early years, her family relocated to Hermitage, Arkansas, where Ileasa was raised and later graduated from high school. Known for her creativity and artistic talents, she was a dedicated Cake Decorator at the Piggly Wiggly in Star City for many years.
After her time in Star City, Ileasa moved to Crossett, where she devoted nearly ten years as a live-in aide, caring for others with compassion and dedication.
Ileasa will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her loving and generous spirit, and especially for the deep affection she held for all her grandchildren. In recent times, she made the meaningful decision to accept Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Ileasa is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of twenty years, Michael Owens; her brothers, Garland Terry Hales and David Hales; and one grandchild, Gauge Owens.
She is survived by her three daughters, Alesha Owens, Tonya Owens, and Bonnie Owens, all of Star City; two sons, Jacob Owens and his wife Brianna, and Patrick Owens and his fiancée Courtney Brown, all of Monticello. She also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, at 2:00 p.m., at Medders Funeral Home of Monticello, with Bro. David Williams, officiating, followed by interment at Outlaw Cemetery in Hermitage under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Monticello. Pallbearers are her grandsons: Gavyn Hayes, Mason Hayes, Caedyn Owens, Austin Pevey, Blake Harton, and Hunter Richardson.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., immediately prior to the service at the funeral home.
