Jacob "Jake" Ryan Currie

Jacob "Jake" Ryan Currie, 23, of Sheridan, Arkansas, died Friday, July 28, 2017,  He was born on December 10, 1993, to his parents, Ronnie and Beth Quarles Currie, in Monticello, Arkansas. He was a lifelong native of Crossett, a 2012 graduate of Crossett High School, and a member of First Baptist Church of Crossett. Jake loved baseball, hanging out with his family and friends and especially taking long walks.  He will be missed by his loving mother, his two sisters, and countless family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Currie; his maternal grandparents, Sue Quarles and James Riley Quarles Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Janice Marter and Joe Currie.

Jake is survived by his mother, Sue Beth Quarles of Little Rock; and two sisters, Elizabeth “Nicole” Currie of Crossett, and Sarah Catherine “Caty” Nealey, and husband, Eddie, of El Paso, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Crossett, 701 Main St, Crossett, with Bro. Jamie Staley officiating.
