Scott McDonald, 50, of Crossett, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Ashley County Medical Center. He was born on May 11, 1971, to his parents, Phillip, and Mae Elizabeth Bossert McDonald. He was a 1989 graduate of Crossett High School and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Crossett.
For nearly ten years, Scott worked as a stocker at the Wal-Mart Supercenter and in the past worked as a CNA for the Leisure Lodge and various convenient stores.
He was highly intelligent and loved to read books on generally every subject, especially cooking. Scott was tender hearted and had a special love for animals.
He is proceeded in death by his father Phillip McDonald.
Scott is survived by his mother Mae Bossert McDonald of Crossett; one brother, Robert McDonald of Fort Worth, TX; an adopted sister, June Terry Zheng of Laramie, WY; and a special friend, Carolyne Courtney of Crossett; along with a host of cousins and other relatives.
Arrangements are under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett. No services are planned at this time.
