Janet Christian (Liberto) Buchner

Janet Christian Buchner, 74, of Conway, formerly of Crossett, passed away on June 26, 2023. She was born on October 4, 1948, to her parents Joe and Carrie Lee Gulledge Liberto and was raised in Smackover, Arkansas.

Janet was quiet and soft-spoken and naturally nurturing to everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her parents and leaves behind her husband of twenty-eight years, Michael Buchner of Conway; one son, Doug East of Magnolia, TX; one daughter, Kim East of Pearland, TX; and one stepdaughter, Mechelle Buchner Winslow of Little Rock, AR; along with one sister, Joan Lewis (Jimmy) of Wooster, AR; one aunt, Mary Liberto of Bartlett, TN; and two grandchildren, Dalyn and Darby East.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 29th, at Pinewood Memorial Park, with Bro. Jimmie Lewis, officiating.  Pallbearers are Quint Couey, Michael Young, Steve Lewis, Chuck Lewis, and Wayne Dodson.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Thursday, at Medders Funeral Home prior to the service.
