He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles “Blackie” Cannon; and two sisters, Ann Funderburg and Elizabeth “Libby” Wallace.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosemary Wilber Cannon of Milo; two sons, Larry Michael Cannon and wife Denise of Crossett and Jeff Glen Cannon and wife Donna Kaye of Milo; two daughters, Sherry Cannon Clark and husband Tommy of Milo and Julie Cannon Keeth and husband Wayne of Crossett; two sisters, Betty Cannon Sawyer and husband Billy, Sr. of Milo and Judy Cannon Grimes and husband Larry of Ashdown; one sister-in-law, Robbie Courson Cannon; eight grandchildren, Rachel Marie Cannon Neal, Jimmy Lawrence Cannon, Hannah Elizabeth Cannon, Jennifer Martin, Sonya Ricks, Tyler Cannon Keeth, Jacob Glen Cannon, and Charles Bailey Cannon; along with eleven great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14th at Medders Funeral Home Chapel, 1564 Hwy 52 W in Crossett with Pastor Lloyd Gibbs officiating, followed by an interment at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.  Pallbearers are Jimmy L. Cannon, Jacob Cannon, Tyler Keeth, Bailey Cannon, Ricky Funderburg, and Jimmy Don Funderburg.  Honorary Pallbearers are Sam McMahan, Wayne Dodson, Royce Swaim, Danny Roy Jordan, Dennis Rice, George Walker, Robbie “Hambone” Cunningham, and Roy Rodgers.
