Jo Ann (Langley) Johnson

Jo Ann Johnson, 84, of Crossett, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at her home.  She was born on April 29, 1937, to her parents, James A. and Irene Lochala Langley. 

Jo Ann grew up in Crossett, was a proud member of the CHS class of 1955, and helped organize many class reunions.

Her professional career was primarily comprised of jobs in the radio industry, which involved many stations, including KAGH in Crossett where she worked for many years. 

Jo Ann enjoyed reading, walking, and spending time with her family.  She was a great friend who was loved by everyone for her big heart and giving soul.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glen “Johnny” Johnson; her grandparents, Judge Walter and Alabama “Bama” Lochala; and five siblings, Paul Langley, Charles Langley, Alma Jean Pinkston, Christine Graves, and Donald Langley.

She leaves behind one son, Todd Langley Johnson and one niece, Rhonda Johnson-Von Genk.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
